Dominic Savage
Main area of responsibility:
I am Chair of Governors. I have ultimate responsibility for the governance of the school and performance of the Governing Board. I am a member of both the Inside and Outside the Classroom committees. I Chair the Pupil Discipline, Staff Discipline, Admissions and Headteacher Performance and Pay Policy Committees. I am the Link Governor for the SIP (School Improvement Plan) and represent the school to Admissions Appeals Panels.
Experience/Work/Interests:
My whole working career has been in education, leading the educational supply industry in the UK and more recently being the Director of the Education World Forum.
I have been a School Governor for over 40 years, serving as a local authority Governor, Diocesan Foundation Governor, co-opted Governor and was part of an Interim Executive Board for a school in difficulties. I am also a trustee of a Diocesan school charity. Over the years I have sat on a variety of UK committees on education, the UK Government’s Education Technology Action Group and it’s International Education Council and have served as a member of an ESRC education research grants committee.
I was a Governor of both Bishop Ward and Sacred Heart schools from the mid 1980s and was instrumental in bringing the schools together to form the highly successful All Saints Catholic School and was a Governor during the amalgamation phase in the late 1980s and have been a Governor since All Saints opened in 1989.
My interests are in the development of education, particularly Catholic education, especially to deliver the best and most relevant education for all our pupils, the widest range of opportunities and the most supportive and differentiated experience for each individual. I am particularly keen to support the happiest possible environment for our whole school community: pupils, staff and families alike.
Last visit to school focussed on:
I attended the new term’s INSET induction day sessions including Teaching & Learning, Curriculum, Safeguarding and Pastoral provision. Moreover, the role of Chair goes far beyond occasional visits to school and requires regular, often and daily communication with the Headteacher and other staff. Recent visits into school have been for the purposes of Governor meetings, staff appointments, contract signing, planning future building developments, learning walks and speaking with pupils and staff.
Christopher Mabey
Main area of responsibility:
Preserving the religious character of the school, operating at a strategic level ensuring that the Catholic vision is promoted and upheld. I am the link Governor for Religious Education and Catholic life of the school and I am a member of the Pupil Discipline Committee.
Experience/Work/Interests:
Teacher and 18 years as a Headteacher in the London Borough of Newham in east London. I hold a degree in Theology & Religious Studies and an MA in Catholic School Leadership. I have led and managed a Teaching School and worked as a National Leader of Education.
I have worked as a Governor across the Diocese of Westminster and Brentwood for over 20 years. Whilst primary interests are in education, developing the whole child and this is what drives my service at All Saints Catholic School.

Met with my link area staff, conducted learning walks, met with pupils in order to support the Catholic Life of the school.
George Lopez
Main area of responsibility:
I am a Foundation Governor with responsibility for Health & Safety across the school and I am also the Link Governor for Assessment. I am a member of both the ‘Inside’ and ‘Outside’ the classroom committees.
Experience/Work/Interests:
I have been a school Governor for over 10 years, beginning with my post as a parent Governor at St Peter’s R.C. Primary School in Barking & Dagenham where I was also Chair of the Governing Board for 8 years. I joined All Saints governing board in 2015 as a Parent Governor once again before becoming a Foundation Governor.
In my professional career I am a Lead Auditor, specialising in quality, health & safety as well as environmental management systems. I am also a Lead Instructor for both PASMA and the Ladder Association.

Assessing the site with the Site Manager, assessing the 6th Form facilities and space management.
Glenda Spencer
Main area of responsibility:
I am Chair of the Inside the Classroom Committee, a Link Governor for Religious Education, SEND, Safeguarding and I am also the Vice Chair of the Governing Body.
Experience/Work/Interests:
I am now professionally retired; I have been a Governor with over 30 years’ experience and now also volunteer to support anti-knife crime in the Borough and act as a counsellor for Marriage Care.

Assessing school provision and practice in RE and SEN.
Peter Dayson
Main area of responsibility:
I am a Parent Governor with links to the Arts at All Saints Catholic School.
Experience/Work/Interests:
I am and have been an Actor, Director, Producer and Writer for over 40 years; my work has taken place all over the UK and world, on stage and behind the scenes.
Last visit to school focussed on:
Assessing school provision and practice in Performing Arts, Art and Physical Education meeting with staff and conducting pupil voice.
Ingrid Robinson (Councillor)
Main area of responsibility:
I oversee the Cultural Education and Race & Social Justice work at All Saints.
Experience/Work/Interests:
I am in my second term as a Councillor in the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham. I am the Local Authority Representative Governor for All Saints, which is located in the ward I proudly represent. Before becoming an elected official I have worked in commercial property Law for over 20 years and I was the Conveyancing Manager for the Borough of Havering. I also worked for the top 100 Law firm, Nabarros. I enjoy travelling and reading.

Guest at the ‘International Evening’ school celebration and production.
Ngozi Obiakonwa
Main area of responsibility:
I am a Parent Governor, elected to now sit on the set committees within the Governing Body.
Experience/Work/Interests:
Professionally, I have worked as a Customer Experience Specialist. I now volunteer for my local community as a Community Project Coordinator for North Meets South Big Local (NMS) promoting community cohesion. I also work with BD Giving as a member of the community steering group managing the community endowment fund.
My passion lies in the area of health and wellness.

Pat Brown
Main area of responsibility:
I am a Governor, with a focus on admissions and appeals.
Experience/Work/Interests:
Professionally, I have worked in many fields from banking and insurance to legal and metal exchange. I am born, raised and educated in the Catholic faith in Dagenham. I have worked in the Borough of Westminster and I currently work as an elected Councillor in Barking & Dagenham serving on the admissions and appeals team.

Matthew Dalton
Main area of responsibility:
I am a Foundation Governor, focussing on Teaching & Learning and Pastoral Care.
Experience/Work/Interests:
I worked for 38 years in Catholic, Secondary School education in a variety of roles such as Deputy Head with responsibility for Pastoral Care and as the Designated Safeguarding Lead.
Last visit to school focussed on:
I assessed and reported on the innovative and extensive pastoral provision being delivered in school.
Edward Badu
Main area of responsibility:
I am focussed on nurturing the distinctive Catholic ethos of the school and serving on the Governing Body.
Experience/Work/Interests:
I am currently the Director of Youth Organising and Apprenticeship at the Centre for Theology and Community and Co-Founder of SharpEdged. I am primarily interested in creating opportunity for young people. I have worked in the property industry for private and corporate clients.

I conducted a site tour in all areas undertaking staff and pupil voice sessions.
Joseph Ajibade
Main area of responsibility:
I am a Parent Governor
Experience/Work/Interests:
Professionally, I have worked at the Department of Education in key areas such as at the National and Regional Schools Commissioners Offices in Finance and as Estates Finance Manager. I am a sporty person and love football and travel.

I took part in a Governor’s Training day covering all areas of school life.
